The third module of the Certificate Course on Evidence-based Policy-Making (CC-EBPM) was conducted through a webinar titled “Best Practices on Evidence-based Policy-Making in the New Normal” on October 28, 2020.

Dr. Michael Jackson, Founder and Chairman of Shaping Tomorrow, discussed the connection between AI and evidence-based policy-making. Ormoc City Mayor Hon. Richard I. Gomez and Baguio City Mayor Hon. Benjamin B. Magalong discussed case stories of successful evidence-based responses to COVID-19 in their respective cities. They were met with questions from the co-learners as well as reactions from DAP-GSPDM Senior Fellows Dr. Alex Brillantes, Jr., and Dr. Ma. Oliva Domingo. See More

The Graduate School of Public and Development Management of the Development Academy of the Philippines conducted a Webinar titled “Knowledge Co-Creation: An Introduction to Health Systems and Development” on October 21, 2020. The event was attended by participants from the Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center headed by its Medical Chief Officer, Dr. Eduardo M. Badua III.

The webinar aimed to share valuable information on health systems and development which will serve as an anchor to the series of activities and projects that the DAP-GSPDM and ITRMC will co-create.
