Master in Public Management major in Knowledge Management

The DAP Graduate School is pleased to announce that the MASTER IN PUBLIC MANAGEMENT MAJOR IN KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT (MPM-KM) program is now accepting student applications for Academic Year 2023-2024. 

A new specialization on KM is hereby offered for the Master of Public Management (MPM) program of the DAP-GSPDM. This Master's degree program looks into how public management and governance becomes knowledge-driven and how KM is integrated into the mandate and operations of governments and other public organizations. Subsequently, this Master's degree program aims to equip professionals with the competencies, work behaviors, values, and tools to correctly use knowledge and practice KM in their respective organizations.

MPM-KM is 39-unit master's degree program that delves into the study and professional practice of knowledge management (KM) as applied to managing the operations and programs of the Philippine government and its various institutions and instrumentalities including local government units (LGUs), government-owned and/or -controlled corporations (GOCCs), and other public organizations. The program is likewise applicable to not-for-profit or nongovernmental organizations (NGOs).The program follows the standard curricular structure of DAP-GSPDM with fifteen (15) units of core courses, eighteen(18) units of major courses, and six (6) units of thesis research. This master's degree program looks into how public management and governance becomes knowledge-driven and how KM is integrated into the mandate and operations of governments and other public organizations.
